The Waiamea area of the North
Shore would be considered one of the most desirable
areas to stay at. Here are a few of Three tables
attributes.
- Waiamea Bay beach and Waiamea
falls park 100 yards south.
- North shore
bike path starts directly in front
of our house. See if you can make it to sunset
beach and back. If not the bus takes
bikes and the buss stop is directly in front
of our house too.
- Foodland market 200 yards north up
the bike path.
- Yoga class Mon ,Wed.,Fri.
800.-900.Am. Free class in the community
center across the street.
- Fire station
directly across from Foodland. The
surf on the North Shore is spectacular yet
dangerous. Our fire rescue team is the first
to respond to any emergency in the area with
a response time of less than two minutes
to Three tables.
- Kristin and catholic churches
within walking distance
- Three tables beach
is a fish sanctuary which creates some
of the best skin and scuba diving in the
world.
- The famous backpackers
is located just next to us which brings
a cosmopolitan flavor
to our beach. Every now and then
you might have to explain European bathing
customs to the kids. It is very easy to strike
up international conversation.
